Trustee Principles Appointments

Trustee Principles is delighted to announce that Mr Phelim O’Reilly has recently joined the company. Phelim has previously worked for the Construction Industry Federation, where he held the position of general manager of the €400m Construction Federation Executive Pension Scheme (CFEPS) for 11 years. Phelim was involved in the operation of both defined benefit and defined contribution schemes and has a deep understanding of the requirements of trustees.

Announcing his appointment, Maurice Whyms, Director of Trustee Principles said ‘ given the current challenges in the market around financial risk management, governance and control, cost effective service delivery and change management, we see Phelim’s wealth of experience as strengthening the company’s  high levels of expertise and knowledge in these key areas. His appointment will also enhance our ability to provide an independent and a fresh perspective on pension issues whilst delivering a personalised high level of customer service.’

Phelim will be supporting Trustee Principles by providing professional trusteeship services for the company, which now provides trustee services to schemes with assets of €4bn and over 35,000 members. Phelim will also be managing Family Law and Pension Adjustment Order services for Trustee Principles' sister company Attain.
